I love this feature- it's like HMT without the crashing and long waits!

*thinks of random way to change subject* Either way when esch 7 is finally released we will all be happy!

no, I would trade Eschaton 0.6 for HMT 0.75 any day as long as a had 0.7's bitmap importing ability.

Something like that. Don't worry about it, it's not very important. Can we move on to a new subject? This conversation is stupid and pointless.

So you're saying "The old version will be better than the new version until the new version is finished."

Post by 002 » Mon Jul 07, 2008 10:22 am

that is why I said "until"

Post by Noodle » Mon Jul 07, 2008 10:14 am

Yea, cause this is only a demo. and it only does bitmap related things... so no shit.

Thats like saying "The old version is better than the new version because the new version isnt finished."

Eschaton 0.6 is still better than 0.7 though (until you add meta editing and a dependency swapper.)

It is not. Import is a different dialog that performs the same function as inject in HMT (not to be confused with inject texture). It loads jpg, png and other images and imports them.

Post by White Knightmare » Sun Jul 06, 2008 8:09 pm

if importing isnt injecting? no

Post by Altimit01 » Sun Jul 06, 2008 7:59 pm

I'm thinking the .dds wasn't encoded correctly. Have you tried importing the image?

Post by White Knightmare » Sun Jul 06, 2008 7:31 pm

i re-opened in graphic converter and got
Image
too

but in quick preview i get
Image
which is what its suppose to be

Post by Altimit01 » Sun Jul 06, 2008 7:29 pm

Ahhh... if you're using a .dds, then I can foresee problems.
