I would say don't record unless you have decent recording results. I rarely record, because my normal playing frames would dip below 30fps already. Either that, or find a way to improve the fps, (what Bunneh mentioned).

yeah, you're meant to like... change the settings when you have optifine installed so you get a better fps. like actually install that shit and read through all the settings and set it to the lowest possible and test fps there.

I should check my FPS while recording to test it out. I refuse to use OptiFine as it slows my game.

If you don't plan to be using your mic in a video, turn that shit off, shits annoying. also, look into getting optimine/optifine/whatever it's called because that is some shitty fps you got there son.
