Re: good news from the iphone dev team

Re: good news from the iphone dev team
Softpedia doesn't condone jailbreaking / unlocking the iPhone / iPod touch or any other device. This article has a purely informational purpose and doesn't, in any way, suggest that you should hack your Apple device. Using hacks may render your device unusable, or may reduce the quality of your exp...

Re: Hack YOUR Mac in 30 secs
and so now, you have only validated my previous statement that this is a problem, one which can be countered by setting the firmware password. unfortunately more people know how to do this even less than boot into single user. also looking this up on the web will garner the same results here is an e...

Re: Hack YOUR Mac in 30 secs
Single user is hardly a security hole. so you dont see a guest user being able to sit down at your mac, load up single user (which takes nothing other than a restart holding the s key for you non privy people) and enable or change your root users password, log on as them and gain complete access to...

Re: Hack YOUR Mac in 30 secs
oh wow, so pro. You can reset the root password because you login as root. GJ sorry if I am not phased by this at all, after cracking security permissions from a simple finder managed account this is child's play. Also, enabling root account is a BAD idea because there is no need to be logged in as...

New to the forums
Hello all, just want to say im new to this forum, not to modding. I used to mod halo a bit, made a fallout editing kit, a NES hacker, and added an experimental tag to eschaton. i used to be known as ahalonerd or r0us. Anyways, i was interested in seeing what the Mac modding scene is since i have bee...
