I had a lot of fun with this. The flamethrower AR was pretty interesting, but my favorite weapon was definitely the silenced AR. That thing was totally universal.

Oh sweet! I have no problem with that. The weapons spawn vertically though, and the plasma rifle/pistol shaders are much darker. Not really that big of a deal, as the game still plays like I meant it to.

Elaborate. What Map? Has it been converted or previously modded? This doesn't make sense to me, but importing any tag into a10 (like, uncorrupted tags, such as weapons or bipeds from other full campaign maps) just break the map. Also, after I converted it to HaloMD, the vehicles did not spawn. Worth looking into if you're porting it. I swapped the Banshees with the Shade turrets in both the scenario and globals a long, long time ago to get them to spawn with default settings. I guess I could've always just meta edited thei...

Did anyone, you know, ever SOLVE this problem?
I've tried just about everything. Used like six different versions of eschaton. Imported tags and then SCNR swapped with the original file.

I followed all the steps correctly. Used Audacity and everything. It imported fine. The sound file is great. HOWEVER, whenever another sound plays at the exact same time as the imported sound, halo crashes. Is there any way to fix this?

i would think modding should be super sophisticated and requires an organized work ethic, due to the fact that it might arguably be harder to do than actually make a game from scratch. you do have to reverse-engineer what the makers built together and learn how to work around bugs using third-party ...

Weeeeellll this certainly is a problem. Seems that I'm not the only one frustrated with a10 modding. . I used Eschaton 0.8.1 rather than 8.2 (thanks for the downlaod link, by the way) and that didn't help at all. Did anyone ever find a solution to this? I guess I could get away with modding a10 with...
