Re: halo demo mods
We are discussing how Stuffit is unneeded and that it is junk, and that the "how to play a mod sticky" thread is bad and wrong in saying that you need Stuffit to install a mod. The sticky thread is bad to the extent that I wouldn't recommend any novice that is interested in playing a mod ...

Re: Mac and Windows LAN Game Play
Thanks for your help Monoman and nil! II suppose I should have posted this in the Halo Full section, but my chances of someone replying there sooner than here were slim. Anyway, nil, I was referring more to LAN play, but you covered that too, so no problem! Thanks for referring to the latest version...

Re: Mac and Windows LAN Game Play
Now, exactly, to what extent? Like, as long as we are both playing Halo as opposed to Halo 2, or to the extent that it has to be the same version as in 1.0.2?
I don't think he even has Halo, so where and how can I make sure he is getting the same "version"?

Re: Mac and Windows LAN Game Play
That's awesome!
Now, I heard that there may be problems if I have a newer (or older) version of Halo running than my friend's computer. Will this be a problem?

Re: Mac and Windows LAN Game Play
Alright, great! Would it be like starting up an old regular LAN game, or would I have to do anything to the IP Addresses. On the Macs, I use the "Connect to Server" command to connect the two computers, how do you do that on a Windows? Would you just find the IP for the Windows computer an...

Mac and Windows LAN Game Play
Hey Guys! Yes, it has been awhile, but I have been having some problems with my laptop. After finally figuring things out, it is not running! Anyway, I was wondering if it is possible to host a game (on either a mac or windows) and let the opposite-running operating system to join. For example, I ha...

Re: Hey Guys! I Am Visiting!
Hey man. You gona stick around or you just checking in? We need some more good quality mods; not many have been released lately. I'm in the same situation as you, lots of school work this year, so I haven't had much time to make mods and stuff. No, I think I will just be visiting for the time being...

Hey Guys! I Am Visiting!
Hello my fellow friends! How has it been the last year? :) I just had some extra time and was wondering how everyone is doing! Are there still people here from my time (long long ago :D 8) ? I would love to continue modding, but for the time being, I am swamped with all kinds of other work! Although...

Movie Goof-Ups
Hey guys! I haven't been on for quite a while so I figured I would start a topic about something. As the title implies, this is about movies goofing-up. I know quite a few movie mess ups that I would like to put on here. Just recently, while watching the crappy movie Eragon (its now that bad, but it...

Most Halo Trial and Halo Demo maps work between the two games. There's no point making maps for Mac different from maps for PC, especially when those maps are just limited forms of the full version maps, which have to be able to sync in order for multiplayer to be as big as it is. Some maps might o...
