Re: Reflections on MD
HaloMD brought new life into a dying game and community. All those years of manually renaming maps to bloodgulch and distributing everything on mediafire. The confusion of joining modded servers without the correct map file. HaloMD fixed all that plus countless other quality of life improvements tha...

Re: Unreal Engine 4 - Visual Studio - XCode
Yeah! It's pretty cool that they released the engine for free. I've looked a little at Unreal 4 but haven't tried to make anything in it yet. I've also been playing around a little with Blender but I have a lot to learn about 3d modeling. I might have to check out the MAYA student version. I'd defin...

Re: Metallic Deuterium
This is really cool. I can see it being super useful for fine-tuning values while testing a mod. I'm guessing reference editing is not possible through changes in memory? Even if they can't be edited it might be nice to have a list of references to make it easier to navigate the map structure. Anywa...

Re: DizzPy - Fonzie's Melodic / Rap
Pretty sick man! It's obvious how much work you put into this. I'm about 7 tracks in, so far I'm really digging Harbringer and Groove. In some places the mix seems a bit too bass heavy but overall it's pretty solid.

Re: Decreasing/incrasing shininess in weapons
What you're looking for are the multipurpose bitmaps. Here's a pretty helpful tutorial on bitmaps. Unfortunately the pictures are no longer available but it still might be useful. Here's what it says about multipurpose bitmaps: Multipurpose Skins How many skins do we see that look so awesome but lac...

Re: How does one add scenery?
The easiest way would probably be using swordedit's duplicate tool. Just select any piece of scenery and duplicate it. From there you can change it to whatever you want.

Re: Bloodgulch+ (1.0)
I had a lot of fun playing this. The music put a smile on my face. New weapons are really cool and the gameplay was fast paced. Also it seemed balanced very well. Great job man!

My 2010 Macbook Air upgraded to 10.9 does not appear to be affected. I believe it has an NVIDIA GeForce 320M.

Re: Swordedit Sunlight (Version 1.0)
The new rendering engine is really cool.
I haven't spent too much time with this yet but one thing I miss from the old swordedit is pressing spacebar to move the camera up (although pressing c to move it down still works).
Anyway great job =]
