Created a group called Old Farts of Mac Gaming Mods. I made it closed, just so that we don't get a bunch of randoms. Just shoot a request to join (maybe with your name from 'round here), and I'll get you added in.

Re: Old Modders
I feel like we once had a Facebook group or some kind of directory that let us find each other beyond the forums. Did I dream that? If we don't have one, would anyone be up for me starting one? Don't get me wrong: I always love coming back to MGM. Coming back here is like coming back to the house I ...

Re: Old Modders
This should be everything I've got. Just a dump of my zipped mods folder, so there may be some stuff in there that's not relevant.

Re: Old Modders
I've still got you on the list there Slapzy, so you should have access.
Also, I've got about 2.28 GB of mods; by no means an exhaustive archive, but a good few of the old ones. If anyone wants to have a peruse, I can shove 'em on dropbox.

Re: Old Modders
If there's one thing I regret about my time on MGM, it would be some of the stupid arguments I got into. It seemed really important at the time, but with distance and a bit of age, it seems petty now.
So I guess I'm sorry Sparky.

Re: Destiny
Hey Kayar. At first I wasn't really sure if I wanted to get the game, but after seeing some of the pictures/video from the Alpha, I've been more intrigued. Is multiplayer cross platform, or platform specific like Demo was? If it's cross-platform, I'd probably pre-order it for the Beta. How'd you fin...

Re: Old Modders
We are people from a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away... called Halo, where we all came to play.
And maybe a few old farts who still remember our logins... either way, I missed you guys

Re: Old Modders
Kinda the same; cluing up what's felt like a very long semester, and getting ready for a work term this summer. And hopefully, in between the two, fixing up a mod or two for Halo MD :D. Right now I'm studying shipbuilding engineering, more or less taken over my life, but its really interesting and I...

Re: Old Modders
There I was, casually creeping the forums, sipping on my coffee, when I saw Syperium had the most recent post in GD.
I nearly spit out my coffee.
It's good to hear from you! How've you been? What're you up to these days?

Re: HaloMD Lobby
nil's right about the current userbase of MD; the vast majority of people I've been playing with as of late have been people I never knew on the old Demo. Moreover, I think it's easy to overestimate the extinction rate of games like MD - I was playing Aleph One, a free, modernized version of the Mar...

Re: Fonzie's Zombie Apocolypse [HaloMD Mod]
So nice to see some old names in the credits, and a proper mod in good of Bloodgulch, I'd be the first to play it, if only I still had Snow Leopard (or a computer that could run it).

Re: Star Wars: Episodes 7, 8, and..... 9!
And everyone knows that what a character looks like adds points directly into its plot integrity, relevance, and the quality of character development it receives. Clearly, the man who created Jar Jar Binks' skin was a storytelling genius, capable of captivating audiences with a single work of CGI a...

Re: The Community
Ah nostalgia. I take comfort remembering the people from these forums - we may have only known each other through our computers' screens, but I think important parts of our lives were lived out here. I know, for me, this was a place where I was able to share things I could never have shared with any...
