Re: The Eternal Halo servers
Botting is real, make no mistake about that. This happened on Eternal Halo a few weeks ago, a while before Wizard finally added bot protection. I posted this video elsewhere on the forum, as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LU9SPlxbRnI Stats isn't a good way of telling if someone is botting, th...
Re: HaloMD
Oh, yes. A new official update was published recently that supports OS X 10.10 (Yosemite). However, support below 10.7 (Lion) was dropped. If you're on 10.6 or earlier, you shouldn't get an update notification anymore.

Could be shaders. They're broken on Intel graphics, so they're disabled by default on them.
Re: HaloMD

Re: Are we all equal when joining a server?
There have actually been instances of cheaters on those two servers. 300 kills in a short amount of time, plus damning evidence using a tool for viewing through someone's camera.

Re: A quick mod submission question...
Yes. Mods are kept confidential until released. This is partly to prevent people from having different versions of the mod with the same build number in the case that the mod is disapproved because they need to fix something.

Re: Joining servers on a Mac G4 running OS10.5.8
PowerPC building is no longer supported on Xcode, and HaloMD is only supported on 10.6 or newer while only 10.5 is available for PowerPC architectures. However, it is still possible to join HaloMD servers despite having a G4 architecture. You will need the latest version of Halo: Combat Evolved for ...

Yes, you can. It may crash, though, so you'll need to experiment. That's how you learn.

Re: New Bigass update
Your submissions are still queued. It's just been a little slow with the beginning of the semester for me to approve your maps. If it's really urgent that you submit the update, I'll approve that one before approving any of your other maps.

Re: Enabling console in Halo MD
Open HaloMD. While holding down the command key, click on Start. You should see a dialog that says "Halo Graphics Settings". Make sure "Allow console" is checked, then click on the OK button.
Re: HaloMD
There's a new "beta of a beta" release.

It's mostly chat being re-worked. 10.5 support has also been dropped, as well as 32-bit OS X support. It should also work on OS X 10.10 Yosemite.

Re: Some mavericks help.
It looks like Apple still sells Snow Leopard, probably because they want 10.5 and 10.4 users to update to 10.9.
