Mac Gaming Mods

The problem is that most people don't have any of the good maps. I hosted for awhile yesterday and the room was full. By the time we started there was only 3 of us that had the map. Everything comes back to noobs not wanting to play or d/l other maps besides The Met.

I don't really have a favorite map. I just got board with everyone having and playing the met, bunkers, and so forth. The reason Fortress isn't played as much as it once was is many people only like playing no crossing Fortress. Bunkers is good but when RSD was more popular it was played too much. I'm more into the lesser played maps now.

Thought about starting back up the GhRD League and wanted to know if anybody would be interested in it.

I have enough work with my site, but I could help you if you needed some info, mods, or whatever for the other sections.

That would be to long to put in the title. We would still have to convince the noobs. We have to show them the benefits of having the mods and maps over the regular game.

The WW2 mod could be made to work in single player. Also Hx239, why don't you just add to your post instead of posting twice.

RSD can be played under Classic in OS X. It is just slower then if it is under OS 9.

This would also fall under the other topic about RSD noobs. I see Black Mage hosting alot and if he would start using mods then the rest of the noobs would follow.

I agree. I think it was stupid of Red Storm to only make a plugin for a single program, especially since there are so many 3D modelling programs out there.

When you see a white texture that normally means ghrd cant find the texture, missing texture, or if you have a mod active ghrd cant display the texture do to it only working for the full version.

I have never seen the reticule thing, so I am not sure what that would be.

I think we will need to turn some of the noobs on to mods to get enough people.

There are no programs for the Mac that allows you to create a map. The only thing you could do on a Mac with a map is retexture it.

The best record would be the most wins.
