for some reason, I don't really care

1) Instead of making a nice, simple, archived folder containing the map, you make a .dmg, which is probably bigger in size, and more of a hassle than a folder.

2) When you go through the teleporter, you have to be going as slowly as possible or you'll die of fall damage.

4) The only change are the bridges, so basically all you did was add long, useless, inconvenient ledges.
Those are the points I completely agree with. Please, I am trying to help, not trying to flame.

(1) To some newbs/noobs, a mod packed in a format like that would most probably confuse them. Zipping the map is enough ;)

(2) Perhaps you should have put a kind of platform or even a stump or something. Other than 'going slowly', I also had to walk in sideways.

(4) The other changes are okay, but quite insignificant. They would be good if the bridge wasn't included, thus making it mostly CSS, but with the bridges (which really have no use whatsoever, they aren't even linked together) the mod is not really good for a Non-CSS mod. Even Hi-54/45? 's forest mod or Aftermath is better than this.

Hope your next is better! :D
1. The bridge is the point of the map
2. The other changes aren't supposed to be significant.
3. They aren't supposed to be connected.
4. I had to walk slowly for SleepingInsomniac's "super slide of doom" and try being slower in approach.

Any more questions?

and Kayar, I don't care if you will pm or not. I don't really care about your offtopic post. I can always click the ignore button. <OWNT>

Spawning them is easy but it takes a long time to change where the spawn to make them to the point you want. <DOUBLE KILL!>

even keep pming seems like a waste of time so why do it? <TRIPLE KILL!>

IT's also pointless <KILLING SPREE!>

and link to what? <RUNNING RIOT!>

So go ahead and do it, just as long as you know I can ignore you <KILLTACULAR!>

Even emailing me or instant messaging me can be blocked <AWESOME KILL, YOU WIN! (me)>

<game over>

Actually not so cool. Quite pathetic, really. All he did was swap the bitmaps for the sniper ground hit decal for the hill bitmap. It looks like crap.

002, that was just plain fucking retarded. Ignore me if you wish, but I was only meaning to attempt to keep the peace. But jackasses will be jackasses, and I can't change that.

Your post looks like it was written by a 5-year-old. Actually, a 5-year-old could do better.

Also, saying "Game Over" in that context is stupid, because 1. there was no real argument between us in the first place and 2. you used my end-of-argument-phrase against me. "Game Over" is what I said to Leftover_Crack after explaining to him what a dumbass he was.

I was on your side, in effect, when I first posted. I was supporting my Modder's Duty, which states that people shouldn't put down other people's mods. Thus, I was defending you. But you've made me your enemy now, through your own ignorance. Tough luck. Now suck it up and move on.

Someone quote me so he'll see it even though he ignored me.

Game Over.

Wow. The Zipped DMG was extremely confusing, as well as the zipped map file. You had it in there as "secretofthebases.mod" which I had to change to .zip.map before the computer would unarchive it.

After all of this, I was hoping for some really cool mod. Instead, it was just a bitmap change, and a spawn of a series of teleporter bases in the air. The bridge doesn't even present a tactical advantage or use, as they are so narrow that any strafing makes you fall off. Also, you have to get lucky to actually be able to get on the bridge in the first place.

yeah, this mod was not so good. the only change (basicly) are the bridges, and they are the stupidest thing in the world. i'm saying this to lots of people. PLEASE DONT RELEASE MODS WITH ONLY ONE CHANGE! (THAT SUCKS)
