I started out trying to figure out sword edit. After many failed attempts at Gold Saucer (which was going well... until the maze) I then decided to make a smaller SCEN based map which was Elite Station. Now I must have 4 SCEN based maps that I never finished, and 3 that broke. So many maps un-finished...
Anyway, I agree that meta editing is the way to start, but then use sparky's space template and try to make new maps .
