Some of you might remember when I was new here, I posted up a beta for a mod to mess with joiners that never got completed.
Well now it did.

This is the Epic ROFL Mod V1

I made a beta for this back when I was new to MGM, and I never made a full version. So here we are :D

Ok, the mod should be CSS.
But the Changes are made easier for you to see, thus giving the host an advantage over the joiner. However, this mod is created to mess with joiners, not to become a host asshole :)

Where to begin...
To fire the Shotgun, you should hold down the mouse for around five seconds, release, and then hold it again until it fires. It's extremely powerful, so use it wisely.
It is also not effected by gravity... so flying shotguns!

Stay away from the sniper rifle. Snipers who attempt to hide and pick players off will find themselves blown to smithereens by plasma grenades.

The pistol fires slow-moving needles. Another main weapon made obsolete :D

The flame-thrower fires assault rifle rounds.

The green Warthog is a little... strange... just look at yourself while you drive.

I think that's it, so mess with some noobs for me!

The only reason I made this is that it bothered me deeply that a finished one was never made.
So... I really wasn't expecting great feedback.

But... Did you TRY it? The way it was made to be used?

And this isn't supposed to give you an advantage.
It's supposed to be for messing with clueless joiners.

While I can understand why you've discouraged use of the Sniper Rifle, I don't think it was a wise idea to also disable the Pistol: Unlike the Sniper Rifle, the Pistol is a staple weapon, able to be used in close quarters, medium range, and, potentially long range. However, it's most important application is it's effectiveness at medium-to-long range combat: The Pistol, by default, is the only weapon to effectively bridge the gap between the close-quarters weapons/heavy weapons and the long range Sniper Rifle. With it rendered useless, there is now no[\i] effective weapon in this range. Thus, there is now a hole in game-play. On a small or medium sized map, this might not be too much of a problem, but on a larger map like Blood Gulch, this hole from the Medium range up means broken game-play, with increased grenade spamming in an attempt to gain a little range.

This problem could be rectified if you chose to upgrade some of the other weapons to fill this hole. For example, upgrading the Assault Rifle such that it was more similar to it's Halo 3 cousin (increased accuracy, lessened clip), could help that weapon begin to fill the role now left open by the Pistol. One could also increase the accuracy of the Plasma Rifle, and the speed of it's projectiles, to do the same thing. Note, however, that these upgrades do not turn these weapons into a new Pistol; They simply allow other weapons to aid in bridging the gap in game-play.

Not really. Pistols pwn in 3 headshots, or one and a quarter clip of bodyshots. But the pistol is versatile.
Rockets are plain close range insta-kills.
Fool Rods are close-medium range two shot kills.
