[Mod] Moisture

Post by Amy » Wed Jan 20, 2010 6:08 pm

Hey guys, this is a map i have been working on for a while.

ReadMe:
Moisture
By Amy.

Moisture is a map for Halo Demo taking place in the middle of a ocean.

The map is made up of two parts. The Main part, above ground, has 2 buildings, shacks, and platforms above the water. The second part is a Flooded Underwater part, which provides a quick access to enemy base.

Hope you will enjoy this new map!

Gameplay works out pretty well, with 2 ways to get to flags to evade snipers, and lots of cover outside the buildings.

BUGS: there's a gap between Moisture and the period on the loading screen. The entire map is a wee bit crooked, might effect its "professional" look : (.

REQUIREMENTS:
Best if played on pixel + vertex shaders, like this:Image Anything lower will resort to clear water and annoying textures. Higher will have insanely foggy water and hard to see in the flooded area of map.

Anyways, i will get to work on my next map (another map like this one, with no modded weapons)

MAP: http://www.filefront.com/15394547/Moisture.zip

Enjoy!

Not a bad start for a map, but you still need to fix those alignment issues. Keep it moving!

Im finished with this map lol, the alignment issues are too much for me... besides, it doesn't really effect gameplay, just the way it looks.

You mean PIE is okay with it.

Nice mod, but those alignment stuff can be fixed, as moxus said.
Why don't you null out the island? (BSP nuller) Does it work?

Nope, it would make water all glitchy.

Besides, the island is the gulf of mexico where you get supplies for the oil rig you are on.
