No, Dirk just stated his opinion which is similar to mine, so i reposted his post.

Now if you REALLY want my opinion in full.

Bitmaps look like shit, looks like you just got the paint brush and smeared the bitmaps to crap, one weapon limits players, thus limiting the value of the mod which is still crap, also, again nothing special since people can do this in their sleep, it's just plain ugly, no fun and unless their are some real weapon choices, better styles and maybe environment, this will always suck and fail as a mod. and you sir, Fail at it. Hard.

Now which do you prefer?

P.S as loki said you don't pay for this site, this isn't your thread so stfu.

Anyway, my opinions are pretty much what has been stated already. Doesn't look like a swamp. Random untile-able bitmaps. Mediocre selection of equipment. Blablablabla.

Fuck this, I'm not even going to put the mod out now. I worked hard on it, and you guys treat me like shit.

I came here to mod, but I guess this place transformed from a modding community to a bunch of angry flamers.

No you didn't. Jacob did. He started this. In the topic I was using to ask Moxus questions. I'm going to work on the bitmaps more, and I made the mod filled only with plasma weapons. I might work with 002 on this one, when he gets his new computer.

I think a more suitable and attractive title would be "Fluorescence".

Using only a single weapon and grenade type is brilliant. You will really be able to anticipate your player's actions and be able to tweak this so it's really fun. Go with that idea!

Moxus inquired about balance issues with vehicles. Remember reverse splatter is an option. Also, there are many ways you can nerf a weapon, including a vehicle weapon:

- ROF/RPM (rate of fire/rounds per minute, how fast the weapon shoots)
- projectile lifespan/distance
- projectile jpt! damage (and user trigger damage)
- change material responses so it does little or no damage to certain materials, or reflects/over-penetrates
- projectile speed

The bitmaps are almost done, this time we see less of the "tile" pattern on the ground.
Also every thing is covered in this disgusting green slop, somethings are covered in moss :)
I'm working harder to raise the realistic nature of the mod. I think I will be done next week.
I am also going with Sparky's idea, and keeping 1 weapon, and one granade type. I'm happy somebody besides Moxus doesn't hate it.

You can use gimp or photoshop to change the bitmaps into a tilable state. I don't remember in which menu that feature can be found, but it's there.
