Hey Guys, Just thought I would go ahead and release this.

This Features (IMHO) The perfected Civilian Warthog, Created by myself, no CE content used.

I will be releasing a tut eventually.

Whats Different from the Original hog and the Old Civilian Hogs?

Well, One the back is fixed so you have complete aiming freedom, you can spin around in the back seat. The hog truly looks Human with the lack of military specs like Engine meters and etc.

No Windshields, looks more like an off road jeep.

It is, Naturally without the gunner, lighter. So it will be easier to tip. But this is handy for a 3 person assault.

The Rocket Hog is Also Civilian, with the same specs as the Original Hog.

Sweeeeeeeeeeet. Yay, that window was fueling me with road rage. xD Nice work. :wink: Maybe someone should work on a civ hog where the turret is replaced with an ACTUAL seat. BTW, is this CSS? >_< i know, stupid question.

Couldn't you just duplicate the side seat and put it in? Eschaton is unreliable for me lately. :( But by CSS, I meant "Are the changes shared?". lol, But I guess that answered my question.

Now that I think of it, hows about someone make a mod that turns the warthog into a Hummer, or a pickup truck? xD But seriously, THAT would be cool to drive around, the pimpmobile lol (only the hummer would be, pickup truck could hold weapons) o.O

Pretty cool. :D I was thinking you just misspelled Humvee xD Maybe you should give Fonzie that map with it so he can make a Real Life mod v2 :lol:

How to Create a "Fonzie" Civilian Hog

1. Open up Eschaton, open your map (regular way) and scroll down to the mod2 (Model) tag.

2. Find the mp_warthog tag, go to the Reference Swapper, and select everything EXCEPT the warthog lights, hull, and tires.

3. Then at the bottom, select the Tag Class drop down menu, and select the "ligh" tag. Then in the dropdown menu next to it, select effects\lights\coop teleport. Swap it in.

Everything except the Warthog lights, hull, and tires should now be effects\lights\coop teleport. This effectively removes the turret and displays, leaving you with a simple car.
Now to make it so you can get in the back of the hog.


4. Scroll down to the vehi (vehicle) tag, into Reference Swapper, go down to the weap tag (warthog gun), and null it out.

5. Next, go to the Meta Editor tab (to the right of the Eschaton window) and go to Reflexives > Seats > Seat 3 > String32 and then Seat Name. Change the Gunner (Seat 3) name to "W-Passenger".

6. Next go to the Gunner (Seat 3) Bitmask32s, into Flags, and check/tick everything EXCEPT "Drives Vehicle" and "MC Invisible".

7. For the final step, go to the Phys (Physics) tag, Go to mp_warthog > Floats > Weight. Change the weight to about 4500.


And there you go! Enjoy your epic and awesome Warthog!

You should get rid of the windshields coll (if it has one) I want to be able to hold people up when the stop. :lol: Also, think about making Hummers spawn in bloodgulch, that would be cool. OR just get an ACTUAL seat into the back of the hog, now THAT would be cool.
