Hey, yeah, I took AP English today @ 8AM -> noonish. I had American History AP last Friday and Bio this monday, all in the morning as well.Shodos wrote:in several different languages.sword wrote:2 kernel panics later and I still don't have object selection working.
But I do realize how nice Apple made their "OH MY GOD YOUR COMPUTER JUST DIED" image. Its quite polite in how it asks me to hold my power button for 5 seconds.
I repeat; AP ENGLISH?!

I took the US history (same as american I do believe) exam as well, but I had Chemistry as opposed to Biology.

You do know that 5 is the best right? And most colleges don't give you credit for taking an AP class unless you got above a 4 (for some colleges it's 3).Shodos wrote:mm yea I predict I got about a 1 or 2
I took French and US History this year. I fell asleep during US History so I'm kinda worried about that (I also had to BS one of the essays), but I'm pretty sure I got at least a 4 in French so... yeah.
I'm debating whether I should try making a new map the hard way or wait until this thing is done.
Right... See, I didn't take any AP classes this year. Which probably makes me stupid. Instead, I took around 4 electives and like 5 required classes... and that includes Spanish 2 and 3. Yeah... I have two math classes my junior year. And two AP classes. I'm going to have fun next year...
Edit: Maybe we shouldn't turn Sword's topic into a school discussion?

It'll go back when Swordedit is released. Hopefully. lolKayar wrote:Right... See, I didn't take any AP classes this year. Which probably makes me stupid. Production is moving right along. However, I'm close to ripping my hair out over the object translation code.
I've got object selection working well enough that I've gone on to work on moving the actual objects. Thing is, I'm determined to make it so you are moving your selected objects from your current position, not from ( 0, 0, 0 ).
Several different attempts to create my own method of relative-movement later and I've still got nothing. I can say I've learned a bit more about vector math and learned to tackle trig problems in a slightly different way, however, I'm still empty handed.
If anyone has any experience / tips, please post 'em here. Nothing silly like "lol how about 1+ object position" please.
