M® Møds wrote:O ya... theres a bug I have in sparkedit. When I move a vehicle it will make the coords something like 21.541e-6g it puts letters in and then the vehicles don't spawn. Is this fixed in swordedit?
Since no one answered this, I will.

I have two versions of Sparkedit on my computer: A ppc version, and an Intel version. Luckily for me, both work on my computer. The Intel version renders things with odd bitmaps in a multi-colored soup of... well, colors. The PPC version renders things more normally. The PPC version is very useful for moving scenery and weapons into place, especially when precision is required. Due to the bad bitmaps on the Intel version, precision is nigh impossible. However, the PPC version cannot move vehicles. If a vehicle is moved, the bug you mentioned happens. Thus, I use a mixture of both versions of Sparkedit, plus Eschaton's scnr editor. If you do not have the Intel version, you can move a piece of scenery to where you want a vehicle to spawn, and then in Eschaton copy/paste the coordinates.

You're welcome.

(And, more on topic, good job Sword! I look forward to not having to use eschaton for my flag/hill/teleporter/other netgame spawns!)

2 kernel panics later and I still don't have object selection working.

But I do realize how nice Apple made their "OH MY GOD YOUR COMPUTER JUST DIED" image. Its quite polite in how it asks me to hold my power button for 5 seconds.
The sword.
