Haha, I just tried out the banning code. It works awesome!

It has stopped working for me after the first time running it. First time was fine, but now it just closes immediately and doesn't do anything.

Keep in mind sv_ban acts in a much similar way to a team kill ban, meaning that anyone that knows how to change his client port will be able to re-join your game.

The open and closes immediately part is normal after the first run. Make sure you have Halo Demo at the main menu screen. If the problem still persists, then continue reading.

The first time HConsEnabler runs, it searches for the variables it needs to modify in memory to enable the console, and it caches the variable's memory addresses. After the first time, it just modifies the variables at the memory addresses from the first run, so it is suppose to just open and close immediately, but it should modify the variables it got from the first run meaning that it should still enable the console.

If the caching doesn't appear to be working for you (which probably means that the variables's memory addresses aren't static for you), open up Terminal.app (spotlight it), type this in and hit return: Then try it. It shouldn't quit immediately anymore as this makes it search for the variables on every launch now.

and all the other ones just nothing happens!

Also have the same issue, except it never actually worked. No commands work lol.

All the app does is enable the console. if the halo( purple text appears up, well you know the app is working.

Why the console commands may not execute could be for an entirely different reason, such as Halo's console not liking your mods (which was exactly Amy's case by the way).

Or it could be that one doesn't know when to use the commands, or how to use them...

If the app still doesn't work after reading what I said above, let me know.
