If Modzy is actually interested, he'd need to find some library that handles ogg vorbis (libogg or libvorbis are the probably obvious C ones), and then get the duration.
It is indeed RB (RS?), and I've looked at some of the documentation for the vorbis format, it'd take me awhile, but I could implement something in RB (RS?!). It'd just be a big pain.

'Course, at that point I might as well just rewrite the thing in Obj-C, which would suit this application better, and wouldn't really be hard.

Converters aren't that easy to make, that's why there aren't any good free ones.
If i'm wrong, pleast correct me.

Not really hard. You just might run into issues with proprietary stuff.

lsnd is a different tag from snd!, because snd! contains or directly references sound data, while lsnd references only snd! tags and determines how to handle them as if they were a form of loop of some kind. To see the difference, open up bloodgulch.map with Eschaton 0.8.1+ using Sparky's Plugins to view the snd! and lsnd tags.

I followed all the steps correctly. Used Audacity and everything. It imported fine. The sound file is great. HOWEVER, whenever another sound plays at the exact same time as the imported sound, halo crashes. Is there any way to fix this?

The first part of the song i put in sounded like the guy was stoned when he sung it with a light echo. The second half was ok. Any idea why this happens? Is there a way to fix?
