Other maps are converting fine but that map and 1 more so if anyone can tell me what is wrong and how to fix it i would greatly appreciate it

it appears if they add in new stuff like videos they created there is a problem because that same map i found as a normal map and it worked fine, but the messed up one has motorcycles, Lamborghini/batmobile type car, ect.

if you get into one of the vehicles it everything works fine. but i would like the benefit of running around. and not just driving.

if someone can tell me at least what the problem is, i will do my best to try to find a way to fix it.

if someone can tell me how to fix it then i will do that.

if someone fixes the map for me, then +9001 for you. But if you do that please tell me how so i don't have to worry about bugging people in the future over the same topic.

Your link is a 404. You should fix it.

Also, you need the full version of Halo to convert CE maps, due to tag reference implication in CE maps.

hmm the link works for me and also I have halo full installed. and all of them convert now, just some maps are messed up a little

i realized the folder link was messed up that is why i reposted each file afterwards.

and did you say the map worked for you?

also how would i play a map on halo full?

a custom map

I've tried the renaming to bloodgulch but that doesnt work.

With Pearl, convert it to a HaloMD format map, and it will take you through the steps of renaming it and then you can play it in HaloMD.

The animation appear to be corrupted by the conversion. I'll see what I can do.

if you get into a vehicle everything is fixed.

if you look through the scope of a sniper rifle it looks fixed until you fire. then it crashes

I was unable to convert my new A30 Multiplayer map from CE to MD, but I was able to convert from CE to Demo PPC with Pearl 1.2, and then from Demo PPC to Full/MD with Pearl 2. A straight conversion from CE to Full or MD resulted in bitmaps and sounds not being referenced properly; the bitmaps and sounds did not change from custom edition offsets to full offsets.

I got bored and tried to convert this map http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=6514 and pearl just crashes while scanning bitmaps.

I'm running 10.9.5

There is a problem converting bigass full from ce to MD. The guns convert, but not the vehicles. It may be because the map has scripts to replace vehicles with broken vehicles stored in a cube way under the map when a certain amount of damage is reached. Is there any other way to convert the vehicles?

Some CE scripts have trouble running in retail versions of Halo PC (which is what MD runs off of). I can take a look at it later tonight, however I believe 002 made a plugin for MD that allows it to run CE maps without converting. It's worth a try to see if that'll run it.

EDIT:

I cannot find a "final" version of Bigass. However, version 2.104 converted just fine for me.
