Illusion (Beta - 3)

Post by 002 » Thu Aug 08, 2013 8:15 pm

Illusion is a program used for a high-level protection on maps so people don't steal or modify tags in the map.

Special thanks to Modzy and Sparky for some useful help, too.

System Requirements: OS X 10.6 or higher.

Just some UI feedback:

Probably should have ellipses following Unprotect, Protect because it's not obvious they will ask for user input. Also should close the window dialog before starting to protect/unprotect the map.
I am no longer active to Halo or MGM, and don't guarantee a response on the forums or through email. I will however linger around the discord room for general chatting. It's been fun!

I've released Beta 2.

Changes are:
  • Increased protection effectiveness. Unfortunately, that means I've removed password protection for the time being. If you need this, you can download Beta 1.
  • Protection speed is now nearly instantaneous. I had to remove the legacy protections, though.
  • Fixed a bug where the open window wouldn't close.
  • Simplified UI.

I've released Beta 3. This one fixes a minor issue that I accidentally overlooked with an incorrect meta data size written into the map file. It probably wasn't much to worry about, unless your map is extremely large. Then it's something to worry about... This version fixes that problem.
