Eschaton 0.7 released
Re: Eschaton 0.7 released
Tokage: Go to scnr, Reference Swapper (it used to be called the D-Swapper, D for Dependency) and swap some scenery with yours. Then the tag can be seen in Swordedit and you can swap things with it..blablabla.

Can you make a vehicle spawn without making it swapped with another scenery or making it spawn out of a gun? (I mean like using gametypes)

Re: Eschaton 0.7 released
its a mod type thing you can have vehicles spawn where weapons should buts that not what we are talking about.
-go to proj tag of weapon
-make it a vehi
-choose whatever vehicle
i just thought that up its worth a try

Lulz. Crazshroom, that's one of the classic ways to spawn smehing XD
And I, too am looking or a way to sawn things without using the projectile trick. When you import stuff though, it doesn't show up in the scnr. tag.

*sigh* I said I didn't want it to be spawned out of a gun... That's because I want to play it with other people.

Re: Eschaton 0.7 released
I think this topic explains a good way to do it, I am going to try it soon since I also need to spawn vehicles (without gametypes). Try duplicating one of the itmc's, it didnt work for me but thats prbly cause my map is FUBAR >_>

Re: Eschaton 0.7 released
It does.
YOU Can see it, but other players cant.
The only way so far to do this is to spawn through scnr.

Re: Eschaton 0.7 released
Sorry it took so long to address. I've gotten map name and date reading perfect before.Altimit01 wrote:The demo name and build date comes from string formatting. They decided to add an extra character before the null character.
Re: Eschaton 0.7 released
Yes it'd be quite easy to "correct" the string. Just by searching for a null character terminator or something similar. But I've found that it's generally better to actually display all data for a 32-byte long string. The difference in string32s between 0.6 and 0.7 might give you an idea of it. Reading past the null character is generally more useful.

Re: Eschaton 0.7 released
I know its been said before, but I would really appreciate the ability to drag the map onto the dock icon and have it load the map rather then having to use open.
Re: Eschaton 0.7 released
Tell me again why it doesn't open the map right away?
