Haha. Looks like a reasonable theory is behind all of this actually.

1) Samuco renamed rebuildScenario to rebuildScenario222
2) He then took the rebuildScenario method from the moved aside functions, and put it in the class
3) And he started to use that.

However, it does not explain why multiple saved maps on halo full work when they most definitely should not because the saveMap function is still using the original offsets at that point, code needs to be written to refresh those offsets so when we go to write the map it will not kill it after the second save.

or I am using a version that has been compiled with the correct save code...

PS: run on sentences ftw.

The source and version you posted still uses the old rebuild code.
no no, I renamed rebuildScenario222 and replaced the old one.

Ignore that previous post...

I actually think nil is right. The save code didn't actually work for me, so I replaced it with the old code (which works).
The relaunch feature then did its job to prevent double saves.

Still leaves me wondering how I have a copy of swordedit that seems to have no trouble with saving on my copy of Halo full.

If you guys give me the link to the forum where you'll be discussing this stuff, I can make a quick URL for you, dev.halodemo.net, that will redirect to that MGM forum.

Right now, I use forum.halodemo.net to link myself to the Halo Demo forum here. It's a really handy shortcut and works better for me than bookmarks.

What? I only use bookmarks, and the forum is private anyway. Anyone that need to go there knows how to go get there.....

I don't see how you can do anything here.....

Seriously Sparky......

That'd be what the name of the board implies. Note that the board is invisible to y'all looking for it.

Wait.. invisible? But I can't see it, how can I tell it's invisible!? ?? :(

And, er... technically, I'm a dev, but of the web-oriented variety. So at least keep me informed of changes to Eschaton's handling of tag data.

Don't slap the hand that feeds you? Since when did you become the primary audience on this board?
Sparky, sometimes you cannot stick your finger in everything that goes on here.

The board is for the development and future of modding. Pretty much only editing program discussion goes on.
