Even more true, I'm still learning that, but I'm getting there. =)Learning hexadecimal is not the issue. It's learning how the mapfile structure is organized and recognizing patterns in data that indicate something unrecorded. For example noticing a reflexive, or an integer that always seems to relate to a value from another section of the tag (indexes).
I did write that basic tut awhile back.i know how to use it but there isn't anyone that will help me with further investigation.
Thanks for pointing that out, I wasn't thinking clearly the other night, pulled 4 all nighters this week, and I crashed hard yesterday. Then when I woke up, I was a bit groggy when I posted.1A in hex is not 16 decimal. 10 in hex would be 16 in decimal.
