It's an unofficial update. The person is no different than me in that we both submitted our own patches. I looked at the changes he made. I have not tested the update myself, but it looks quite legitimate.

One thing he added was searching in 64-bit processes (Halo Demo isn't 64-bit, nor is Halo Full, so this doesn't matter if you are only concerned with hacking these two programs).

His version also (partly because of supporting 64-bit processes) breaks compatibility with cheat documents created by older versions of The Cheat. So you won't be able to load your old cheat documents, you'll need to recreate them.

I have a problem.... I don't have the password for my computer and I would like to enter inside the cheat only for 3rd person... could you make a version that needs no password?

It's not possible unless you happen to be on a PowerPC running Tiger (10.4) or lower. Chances are that's not the case, but if it is, you can try using the official version 1.2.1.

[But then again, if you're on a PPC Mac, enabling 3rd person will be slightly more challenging..]

This program has been superseded by Bit Slicer. Eg: Check out the halo 3rd person cheat I created for MD or Full which works more reliably. It works by nopping a couple of camera-updating instructions. Making it an executable modification would be fairly easy if desired.
