MOD: Grist

I made 2 attempts to create a nice new block and Items for grist. Now with all the updates and shit I now do not know how to make a block. I even copied another block. now It worked fine the second time and I fixed all the errors, but the screen was black when I tryed to play it. So I decided to do this until I figure all this shit out. just Lapis with different textures. not worth releasing yet.
This was a request from bunneh btw.

Well they aren't :P It's the item I am more worried about, seeing as it's got those ugly white dots on it.

DOUBLE POST(could be an edit but people have already read and wont see the red thing next to it and this is important):
I can make blocks again. I made the grist item and block. I made a grist ore and item. Currently not in any crafting recipe. I have a custom item texture(bunnehs) but I cant figure out terrain.png's coordinate system so Im using clay until I get a mcfourms response. If you could kindly try to understand the terrain.png the lapis ore is ID: 160... and look where it is.

the ID is not relevant to the location of the texture. You see how the terrain.png has got a grid on it? yeah, well each one of those grid spaces corresponds to the location of the texture. for instance, cobblestone is either 2,1 or 1,2.

Once again, that is the block ID not the texture position. Look for another value or two.

The way the textures get controlled is by the getBlockTextureFromSide which passes in as an argument a number indicating the side its asking for and expects an int to be returned which is an offset into the terrain.png. The texture offsets start at 0 in the top left of the image is offset 0 going up to 255 in the bottom right. The numbers increase by 1 each column you go right and increase by 16 for each row you go down. Now the side passed in is 0 for the bottom, 1 for the top and 2 through 5 for the 4 sides. For our top lets use the workshop's top which has an index of 43 and in all other cases just return our blockIndexInTexture. Code for doing this is below and you can just add it into your growing BlockJump.java file.

Double post again. If you think this is for more posts its not I have enough, its the same reason as last time. that was fucking annoying. I did all the math with f12's calculator and I got 208. I wrote 3208 in the feild and It didnt work. I decided to give up logic and Dot every blank space (of which there were many) with a different color. After that I recompiled the JAR about 20+ times to get it working and I finally have,

It will also appear in the ground in veins of 3. It has a rarity of 10, and redstone is 8. it has the same depth and its stone material so you need a pick. BUNNEH I need the damn updated pics and what to do with the items before release.
