1.8 server is back up. Not sure what bug crashed it but it didn't look like it was crashed so I didn't restart it.

Hmm, odd. I was the only person in the server when it crashed. I remember, I was about to book Pork Chops in a stove, but they would not cook, the fire animation was active, but the progress arrow did nothing, soI tried a few different things and then I couldn't move and was forced out.

Did the server get reset? I was at around 230, 350 with a lot of supplies and resources on me. I left and logged back on a few hours later and I lost everything and was at -72, 77. Huh?

Yea. The original test server glitched out. Don't expect much stability from this server. If you'd like, a couple of us have made a strong hold at a canyon up at 680,-15 feel free to join us.

This is the reason the server crashed the first time, my bad:

Hey, I put a lot of time and effort into reaching -100,000 on the 1.7 seed. Is it possible to use that same world in 1.8? I'm not expecting a vote, and I don't want to be selfish, but I'm curious whether the seed generation is improved in 1.8, or whether it's just a matter of where you set up camp in the generated world.

Monoman has already stated that there would be a portal to our 1.7 world. But also, has been mentioned, not many people approved of your travel to 100,000.

We should set up some rudimentary boundary system. Like not a restrictive one, but a general one. As in try to stick within X as much as you can.
