I'm going to say it, I've never read/watched the hunger games series, but I saw someone play this and it looks really fun.
Just a rip off the mod page here, doesn't this sound fun?
It's a FFA PvP arena with up to 24 players + 1 (or more) hosts. There are many hidden chests, puzzles and traps around the map, but the best items are in the center.
Before the games start, all the participants must choose one tube around the center. This is their starting position. When the host is ready to start the games, he'll flick the lever in the host house and the tubes will go up and the games will begin.
Turn of mobs before you play! You can optionally add aggresive mobs, but this makes thing alot harder.
Rules of The Survival Games:
Only one player can win The Survival Games.
You can not break any blocks, expect for leaves and mushrooms.
You are only allowed to place blocks you find in chests.
Your inventory must be empty before you start the game.
No player is allowed to enter the host house.
Rules for the host of The Survival Games:
The host shall light the netherrack the first night.
The host is allowed to add any weapons or food he/she want at any time in the center chests, after the second day has passed.
The host is allowed to spawn zombies, creepers or skeletons after the second day has passed.
perhaps if we organised a night for this, got everyone on mumble and just had a good time, you know?

I'll check out that world this weekend and if everything seems to be working, we can plan on running this on Saturday the 28th, if everyone can make it.
For those who are interested in attending this, post here. I would like to get an idea of the number of players and the best time for everyone.

It looks very interesting. …and i'll probably just try to team up with someone and eventually get backstabbed. :(

Monoman referred this to me while checking the server, I don't mind joining. Luckily there's probably not the premiere of MLP:FiM season 3, and as long as I keep myself reminded with perhaps the MGM logo in my dock, I think I'll manage to make it.
