check this lil movie clip out of an upcoming map for Ghost Recon by |rsi| Deleyt called Trainride

its on fileplanet so you'll need to have an account (free).

I didnt even know something like this was possible for the GR engine. Amazing stuff.

Trainride uses a combination of scrolling textures, animating dynamic objects (linear cycled) and scripted dynamic objects (triggered).
All those combined effects are then mixed in with moving sound-lines to increase the feeling of movement even more.

The FPS might drop on some older machines, since the geometry is crammed into a small space.
However, occluders will be put into the geometry to reduce frameloss as much as possible (still on the to-do list).

Trainride is still very much in development and is subject to changes.
It's intention is to be innovative and break rank with the old map-techniques.
