Everytime I download a sitx recently Safari always downloads it as a sit instead. Any ideas on this weird little problem?

I know this is off topic but Tim is the only one I know besides me that uses sitx for downloads. Anyone else having this problem?

i think that's how it caches things before it unstuffs. you'll see a file on your desktop that says download.sit

sitx is just a compression schema

as long as the end result is an uncompressed dealie i'm ok with it

I'm using Safari 1.2.3 and OS 10.3.3

I was just wondering since if I download sitx file with Internet Explorer or Netscape it stays a sitx file.


Since that is taken care of, I'll delete the thread tomorrow. :wink:
