i wonder if any of you guys have got this map to work on a mac?
it CTD all the time for me.
this map is a part of a mappack.
i just can´t get it.

I also got the crash. When I checked the ike.log the only thing I noticed were some long filenames but only for textures so the map still should of loaded. We will have to keep searching.

yes, i noticed the same. long filenames for textures.
can it be some shit left from ravenshield/rougue spear in the map?

The map loads in Igor and normally if a map crashes ingame it has to do with a model or something directly with the map. I wonder if when Mauti was editing the map for some of the long filenames he screwed up something. To bad ghostrecon.net lost its files or we could just start from the original map pack.

yes, i think i saw a mappack called hamrdeyes mappack for PC or so at Atwar.
did they also store their files at fileplanet?

ghostrecon.net used Atwar's file system. Atwar lost the same files. They have a few that were on a different server but not all of them.

now this is shit, so many mods that are lost.
not for good i hope but many might be im afraid.

i go for your idea, something must have happened during the conversion to mac. but how easy is it to go through the map file in hexedit and see whats wrong? i know i´d get problem

It could be pretty hard since we didn't do the initial conversion. We don't know what was changed.
