So long as it runs on the source engine, but it can only use entities from those games that you have. However you can always download add-ons.

with sourceSKD i think it was called I could use css, Hl2, and I think tf2 entites on portal.

Source SDK ≠ Garry's Mod.

Garry's mod is a mod based on the Source enginge. Source SDK is the Development Kit, designed to create such a modification of the Source Engine, developed by Valve Studios.
