MGM Chat Room??

What do you guys think about having a MGM chat room? Would it even be used since most of us use GameRanger?

To be honest I wouldnt use it due to GameRanger.

yeah but who's gonna pay that 50 bucks -.- if we make a chatroom we might as well make it dedicated 24/7 on gameranger...

i think it would be dumb if one of us just pays 50 bucks just because we want the chatroom.... or maybe u could ask evill to give us one?

I didn't mean a chat room on GameRanger. This would be completely seperate.

I believe if the website grew a little more it would become useful for troubleshooting and MOD support. If people were having problems with "said" game/mod they could go to the live chat room and have "support" help them fix their issue(s).

Also if it is a IRC chatroom, it might help in networking MacGamingMods.com with traffic from other niche Mac sites. IRC is like a cult. lol

If you build it, they might come.

i think IRC would be possible.. it's pretty ez to register and it's free

but if not on gameranger what kind of chatroom are u thinking of?

I was thinking of an IRC channel. It would just be another place besides GameRanger for people to go and talk about games.

Maybe one of those iChat rooms isn't a bad idea.

Like, someone could start it and people join, then when that person has to leave or turn his comp off, someone else could start it. It would be up most of the time. Especially since there seem to be a few different time zoners here.

For now we can call it "MGM Chat"

So, yeah...

The IRC room is no longer active but when it was, it was always up. No need for someone to host it. All you had to do was join it.
