They told us how we won. I think it would have increased the status of the movie if the characters inside the movie would have figured it out by themselves.

I did not think of the movie as 'just some sci-fi', I treated it like any other movie.

It seemed the movie was quite rushed...they cut the movie right as the first few aliens started dying.

Would you have figured it out if you werer him in that situation?
Maybe somepeople did but this movie was about Cruise and his family.

lol whats the differnce, I'll just re-phrase it and it'l mean the same "any other sci-fi."

Well the whole point of the movie was to show that that ending. I guess you'd appreciate it more if you read the book (which I havent).

Anyway I think we can agree its a hate or love it ending.

Well the movie was designed to make you think "there's no hope! We're doomed!"

I mean, if you saw the aliens dying when 3/4 of the movie was done, the movie would lose it's intensity. It would be like, oh the aliens are dying, we are going to win... just like every other movie... yawn, I'm gonna get some more.. um... popcorn, yeah..

But the hopelessness of the events made you really interested.

hmm id give it more like a 6/10, however i must admit i spent more time paying attention to my g/f than i did the movie, so im sure i didnt get all of what was happening. o.O but a bunch of stuff just didnt seem to make sense, and the action in the movie was rather dry... and (i think) it was supposed to be an action movie, no? still, worth my money (if only for an excuse to be w/ my g/f). =p cant wait to see deuce bigalow next thurs... THAT should be good. (assuming i pay attention, i swear g/fs make it hard to watch movies)

btw, i TOTALLY missed how they won, so if anyone is bored and wants to fill me in...
I can't get enough of Gargoyles.

If you weren't paying attention you're not allowed to rate the movie. :P
