sorry to be kinda dumb but.....is this the new Iphone 2.0 software or for the Ipod Touch or something else?

Both the iPhone and iPod Touch are getting the update.

Its been almost 24 hours and its still down *sad face*

the new 2.0 FM came out 1:00 am but the servers gotz a error so they had to pull the download its now 8:05 pm and Im still waiting, I got up at 6:00 am to get it >.<

yea well i live in a different time zone... i had to get up... oh wait... i didnt care >.> its not like a new console is coming out, and even then i dont wait 3 days because "I R MUST HAVE IT FIRST"

Well, I just restored my previously jailbroken iPod, so a lot of functionality has been lost and will continue to be lost until I get the update, so I'm a little pissed.

EDIT: should be working now. Might brick your iPod, but if it does just put it in DFU and try again
