Yeah I've seen a few gmod machinimas. They're innovative but it looks really hard to make a sucessful one

Civil Protection is about the best one out there, except that it uses Hammer, not Gmod. Also, there is a Half-Life 2/EvE Online crossover Machinima. Essentially, everything is done in the EvE test servers, but the interior of the ships and stations is Gmod. Its the only other professionally done HL2 Machinima that I have found. There is also Freeman's Mind, from one of the Civil Protection guys. Its not Gmod and not even HL2 (its done in HL1 Source), but it is by far one of the most hilarious machinimas out there.




And then, of course, there is Matchmaking, Pre-Game Lobby, RvB, and others. But most of those are Halo. Still hilarious though.

Civil Protection is one of if not THE best half life 2 machinima (Excluding Freeman's mind which is done by the same guy and is absolutely brilliant)
does anyone else know how to map for HL2? just wondering, Expanding the site to the source engine will probably double the amount of newcomers.... sounds bad but if anyone useful comes along (Think an HL version of Alt) it will only get better.

I just realized that I forgot to name the HL2/EvE machinima. Its called "Clear Skies". It comes in large 20 min episodes, so you might not find it on Youtube (at least, not full quality). Will edit my post if I find a good quality version.
