I read this and instantly knew what was going on without even reading the previous post.

Day 9- Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, when you do the quest to get the flute and the kid dies and his father never gets to see him again etc.

Also in Resident Evil 4 when Mike the random helicopter pilot dies. Despite his very brief appearance, he was badass, and very cool.

I guess for day nine, Eli Vance and Alyx's reaction to it was quite touching. Especially since Eli was awesome.

HL3: Revenge of the Chopper.

Can't think of a particularly sad moment, since I don't get sadded by games much, but Ghost Rider's death was disappointing. I liked that guy. Though Portal 2's ending was touching (i.e. Turret opera). Dammit Valve, stop making quality games.

Best Gameplay? Shit, I'd have to go with Garry's Mod because even if it isn't quite perfect, there's always LUA.

Day 10: What's this? Everyone's choosing FPSes? Well what the fuck, guys, c'mon, in terms of gameplay the FPS is clunky, difficult, and has odd pacing. I would say, for best gameplay: Any Assassin's Creed game, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and Star Fox 64. Also either Banjo Kazooie or Banjo Tooie.

Score one for the third person games. Which, I might remind you all, is the original viewpoint of all video games.

I think that there are different ways to view gameplay. Whereas one may say, "This has good gameplay because I can play it indefinitely," another may say "I like this game's gameplay because it employs an intuitive use of a flashlight."

that would have to be the computer because of the flexibility and modding.

for an actually "gaming system",
I have to say The xbox 360 for the games, graphics, and things like netflix and live.
But, I prefer the super famicom on most days, So one of those.
