Those kind of boxy shadows tend to happen on rectangular canvases.
Not really fixed but more to my liking.

Sorry about the weird crosshatching, i think the level got ramped up when I cropped those weird jagged green things.

Oh, and the clone stamp worked wonders with the text.

Working on this more, It's body texture was screwed up on export and I can't extract the helm piece of romeo's. A friend of mine has better textures and he plans on sending them over soon. Didn't get the gun yet so this will have to do as the preview. Sorry mon.


Also, @ Sugar and uh..whoever posted elite on first page. I don't understand how the hell you're poses work so please rephrase.

It looks pretty sick either way. I like the bandolier on the right leg, too. Keep it up, it looks like smex.

Okay. So the elite is aiming a plasma rifle towards the screen. He holds an energy sword on the other arm. And can he look angry? :D



Also, i think sugar's pose is where the dude is dragging his sniper on the ground.

Something like the red guy, but the sword isn't in lunging mode, its just neutral, and at that angle.

Kiyoshi, oddly enough on those realistic renders the chief looks more real than the background. Higher quality background needed, I think. Also, I actually kinda like that weird texture. He almost looks like he is wearing snow camo, or some sort of shiny plastic armor. Like the Mac version of Gordon Freeman. Heh heh.


Ohh.... That would be another thing to try out sometime. Try to make Chief's armor look like the color palette on the cubes in portal. That sort of clean, white plastic look. Probably could use some sub surface scattering too... Hmm.
