Its ok... Doesnt look like it can be put down horizontally though. And its design is rather ugly in my opinion. Go with all curves or all edges, the PS3 proved you cant do both. The only thing I like is the Wifi, although the price and HD are quite a nice addition.

Actually, thats an interesting thought... The old one can connect to a PC with a cable. Perhaps the Mac can find this one? But... isnt that Bluetooth? Totally different from Wifi that the thing has.

Spawnkill.com wrote:The new model also sports some other upgraded functionality and changes that aren’t merely aesthetic. The new Xbox 360 has two additional USB ports on the back (five total, meaning two more than the previous models) and a special port for directly powering and communicating with the Kinect add-on. The disc tray button and the power button have been replaced with touch-sensitive ones, so you merely have to touch them to perform their functions.
The new console apparently hums much more quietly, and the power supply has received a much welcomed downsizing. All the accessories including the headset and controller are black. Unfortunately, the console only comes with a standard composite A/V cable rather than a component or HDMI one. The data transfer cable costs $19.99 if you wish to move your old 360 data onto the new model.

It's a lame attempt for Microsoft to make a little extra money before the new xBox is revealed. This is something they should've done in 2006 or so.

Many thanks to the people who have made my years on MGM and on Halo Demo so memorable.

Even so, with the new weird-looking ridge, I would never set it on its side. Unless that thing is used for ventilation or something, it is totally illogical to have it there.

I'm a bit confused. The Kinect..is it a new version of the xbox? Or is it just an add-on that you can "attach" to your 360?
And what games work with Kinect, because as far as I can see, it's "xbox 360 jump in" thing at the end has the swirly thing, same as the ones at the end of Halo Reach...
I'm confused

Kinect is crappily and juvenilely named product that works as a motion-detecting add-on to the Xbox 360 that detects your body's movements and uses them as input for select games.
