I know I am. I mean come on- it's the original Halo reborn with better graphics but identical gameplay. Oh, and it's only forty bucks.
Then again, if you didn't know that information, you must've been living under a rock over the summer.

No, both works. Or just wait like 4 months and it should be cheaper.

Zang, I'm gonna say either copy the maps to the Halo UB maps folder. You might need to convert the header, but it all should be compatible if your graphics card can handle it.
Also, I know this isn't exactly the same, but I'm not selling Sparky's Bitmaps and Sounds Collection, so wtf mate? Why $40? Or should all us modders decide to sell our big mods also?

I'm excited for the multi-player maps and a good nostalgia trip, but I have doubts over the replay value.

I was not planning on it due to price and the fact that I don't play Xbox much anymore. Now I'm just not planning on buying it due to the latter. Glad to hear they aren't charging a full $60 for what is technically just a patched, graphically upgraded version of the Halo:CE you can buy in the XBL Arcade for cheap.

The multi-player is basically reach if you didn't know, just saying.

From what I remember hearing, the multiplayer is basically the same as the first game. Which makes me worry about the pistol a bit.

I've been following closely, and i'm pretty sure that the multiplayer is using reach's engine, i mean:
go to 1:25 for actual multiplayer.

Mgal, I don't know if it's just your writing style, but when you speaka teh words, I facepalm.
Anyway, the multiplayer is essentially a map pack for reach, but it will have it's own playlist. This has been known since the beginning of development for the most part...

I know. I'm just looking forward to having matchmaking-style games on the original CE maps.
@ Drac: I worry about the pistol too, especially since 343 has decided to throw it into Reach multi-player, which I think will be a huge facepalm. That and a bunch of the other stuff in the TU.
