I would say me, but I have little access to an Xbox until winter break (and then, I'll be at my cousin's house, and he is as avid a fan of Halo as I).

I would request it but I still don't have an xbox. (Hopefully picking one up soon.)

Thread Hijacked, is the 4gb xbox even worth buying?

4GB Hard Drive? I would say absolutely not, unless you plan on only playing one or two games and never downloading anything. I suppose price plays into it though. But even the newer Xbox generation is getting cheap.

No. If you want to download a game like reach or something to play it without worrying too much about your shitty xbox overheating, you need atleast 10gb of space. Get the white one with an elite hard drive, thats what I did...

No it is not, it is the model I bought last year although it works fine they MAKE you upgrade to an actual HD for 100 dollars, no you cannot buy a flash stick and use that, no you have to buy the actualy 250gb HD for 100 bucks from microshit. Don't buy the 4 gig there just gonna make you pay more.

Now you like, wtf fonzie what are you talking about..

ill tell you what im fucking talking about

with 4GB of internal storage, Halo Reach WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO JOIN CO OP GAMES, OR FIREFIGHT, OR CERTAIN MATCHMAKING GAMES, BECAUSE IT SAID I HAD "NO" HARD DRIVE. HOW THE FUCK IS 4GB NOT ENOUGH TO "ALLOW" ME TO PLAY A CO-OP CAMPAIGN GAME?!

Microsoft said it is a bug and that they are getting "right" on it.

Fuck you corporate fucks.

EDIT:

Also do NOT BUY A FUCKING WHITE XBOX, THEY ARE FLAWED AND SHIT, AND WILL RROD ON YOU. LET ME EMPHASIZE. THEY MOTHER FUCKING WILL... SAY AGAIN, WILL AT SOME POINT IN MOTHERFUCKING TIME. RED RING OF DEATH ON YOU. DO NOT BUY A WHITE XBOX, INVEST IN THE NEWER MODEL.

It's just smart and you will save money in the long run if you follow your epic online pal Fonzie's advice up above.

I have a 2007 black Xbox elite 250 gb hard drive, use it almost daily and haven't ever had to take it in for maintenance or anything and it still works great.

But don't play to much like. 19h per days.
It can be overheated your Xbox.

You can either buy the old model XBox 360 Elite (Black) <= Well it make a lot noise if you put your CD and play on it (without instal)
Or you can buy the new model.
(Buy the highest GB).

Zang wants the copy. He wonders about shipping cost because he lives in canada. He speaks french and uses a translator, thats why you can't understand him.

Ok, quick summary of what Fonzie said. Basically, you want to buy one of the newer Xboxs. Why? Because then you can guarantee that you don't have one of the early iterations that are extremely prone to RRODing. And you won't be able to send it in for free anymore. Also, the new Xbox is smaller, lighter, and has WiFi. Plus, basically all the problems are fixed.

Mine is now having a problem with the disk drive, where it refuses to come out... I think the motor that drives the tray is worn out. Once I finally get it to pop out, it is really slow. If I put my finger in front of it, it exerts almost no pressure (any of you with an Xbox should know that it has decent force). Basically, the disk tray motor is shot. Damn... It's a matter of age though. But you are probably better getting a new one unless you really don't have the money.

Anyone here remember the Nintendo console box? That had pretty much no moving parts and you just pushed the cartridge in and pushed it down to lock it into place. It was spring-latch-based, so the force of the spring would pop it back out after you unlatched it. As much as I detest the "keep it simple, stupid" slogan, you might see how cheap parts on electronics can make the whole batch of apples rotten.
