I just accidentally typed in "apple.cm" when trying to go to Apple's website, so then I thought "shit, it's gonna take me to that annoying Comcast page." But it actually ended up redirecting me right to Apple's site! Just a really little thing but that's kinda cool that Apple did it. It also shows that the look at their products from a user-prespective, seeing the mistakes a user might make and implementing fixes into their devices.

A lot of websites do this, .cm is probably a domain that one can buy and set it to send you to the actual website.

I just have to say it, why is it all the new 'uns that seem to insist on making a new topic for every "discovery" they find? It is really not necessary.

Also, if a company has enough money to delegate towards adding new URLs to their registered IP address(es) of their computer server(s), then you'll find that it is common to register misspellings in an attempt to circumvent fraudulent web sites from registering similar domains.

But that all assumes that you continue to actually type in the URL into the address bar. Most novice users type web addresses into the search bar, which is a practice I find completely irritating.

I really don't want to sound like a giant asshole, but I know for a fact that there is a whole bunch of members here who have it worse off than you, yet manage to post "normally". Of course, you may react to issues differently than others, it just seems to be that being somewhat annoying and placing personal issues as an excuse doesn't really help.

I probably do react differently. Also note that this is high school, with a fusion of hormones, grades, girls, drama, college, life, and basketball, shit really gets fucked.
