Mac mini to Imac?

I was wondering.... Does Mac mini can connect to a old model Imac (based 2008, Tiger)?
I've searched in google and a lot some topics are "Mac Mini vs IMac" or "Mac mini connect with HDMI".

If you are wondering if you can use your old iMac as a monitor for your Mac mini, you can't (it is possible on some of the newer iMacs though but not yours: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3924)
I am no longer active to Halo or MGM, and don't guarantee a response on the forums or through email. I will however linger around the discord room for general chatting. It's been fun!
