This didn't even work for me until I cleared by mgm cookies today. I did change my username once, but that was such a while ago...

Anyway, I have a couple of suggestions:

1) Exterminate the first IRC browser version. It clearly is not as good as the second one and automatically logs you in with a name of mgmnoob whatever even if you are logged in to the forums.

2) For the second IRC browser version, default the username to nothing if the user is not logged in (or if the user's cookies are screwed up apparently). It will increase the chances for people typing in their real nicknames.

Someone set #macgamingmods to be invite only. Fix?

What happened to VasherBot?

IRC is only fun when theres someone that isn't a bot there.
BTW Taxi...IOU that banshee script thingy, but i can't find it Ò_Ó ah well nvm.

No one had been on there so I had turned the bot off. Although lately nil is back to idling in there with me.

i've got a problem connecting to IRC...

It started 3 days ago, i disconnected once and couldn't get on again.

I kept trying to get on, sometimes i would connect, but then i would disconnect in 10 minutes.

After a while i tried to connect via ajax_chat. It says 'Your host is trying to (re)connect too fast -- throttled'

Sugar had this problem a while ago but he waited a while and could get on again.

It's been 3 days and i still couldn't connect.

what do?

What errors or messages are you getting? Is it only the too fast one?
