I just saw a new game called Joint Operations
its supposed to be the largest FPS ever created
u play on 50 sq km map
can play up to 150 players!! and it says that 56k players play "smooth as glass". They say use special tech that allows this but that must be uber to be able to do that. I forgot to look at requirements but its for pc anyways...
