EDIT: now that I have the post below it,

They will actually be flown off course by a space abnormality and land on Halo, and anger the Covenant which will then attack earth and we will nuke the moon so it hits the space abnormality and hits the Halo and kill BOTH the covenant and the flood at the same time. *thumbs up*
