Yeah, growing up I was always told that drugs were bad etc so I thought of Cannabis as this terrible thing but now that I've researched it alot my veiw is totally changed.

If you are agaisnt Cannabis for health reasons then you need to recheck you facts and make sure your not just hearing the stimga (especially if you drink alcohol since it is much worse for you).

People rebel against the government(s) for freedom(s) such as drugs, alcohol, under-aged sex. So they use/do these items as an act of protest, even though what they do gives the government(s) more so-called 'proof' on how 'dangerous' and 'painful' they can be.

On the other hand, non-potheads fear smoke and hazardous material, and so they find the easiest possible way to ban -anything- to 'save' their children from -anything-.
There is no actual proof that Cannabis is lethal.

Thank you Selix.
We wouldn't know how to read or spell without you, oh wise one.
Are you planning on being an English Major when you grow up?

Cannibas is legal if you know the right doctor.

Break me off a piece of that Keef-Kat Bar.

It says on the package..... Be cautious while driving or operating heavy machinery.

*laughs at Selix's bad methods of correction*

Of course it shouldn't be legal. While a large amount of people use it anyway, you wouldn't want that number to grow.

Without Selix - oh what a scary thought - we would be so lost. Just imagine how empty and worthless we'd feel without his remarkable ability to use the utmost of fine English practice. Thank you, Selix, for your continuing effort to raise the bar in forum language usage.

Explain your theory........ Why wouldn't I want the number to grow?

Amsterdam seems to do allright with legalization. Though the majority of the people that smoke are the tourists. The people that live there don't see the need to do it as much since it is around them all the time.

Hehe, I try to make your lives better.

Oh and blade, it may not be the most effective way for correcting...but it sure as hell is annoying. :)

Mr. Trox, many people neglect to realize the issues and effects surrounding the use of cannabis. You would have to create some sort of program to educate cannabis smokers, and, because of the way our culture has already developed, people would just go ahead and smoke it without caring.

Like alcoholics?

People neglect to realize the issues of many things. Are there any programs out there that educate drinkers on the effects it causes before they drink and drive? Has it helped? Doesn't say anything on the beer can warning the user of black outs, blurred vision, vomiting, etc. We're not leading by example there.

Cannibas smokers know more about the cause and effect of the drug than alcoholics do about the cause and effects of drinking. There is far more material out there for cannibas users to read and learn from. Countless publishings. I don't see Drunk-Times on the magazine rack.

I could go on about other harmful legal products that we get fed, but alcohol presents the biggest danger IMO.

BTW Selix... i thought of a clan tag for you. NOI (pronounced annoy)

Thought you might like it.

So, you'd rather have them abusing cannabis? I don't understand your points... AA exists, are you saying legalize cannabis and go back to prohibition?

There -are- classes in America that teach about being-drunk-off-your-ass side-effects. One is called 'Freshmen Health' and the other 'Driver's Education'. "Well what about adults?" you're probably thinking. Dozens of interviews and publications have been put out in books, novels, magazines, etc.

Try going to Barnse and Noble, they have a whole section on drinking, alcohol and addictions.
