Hosting trouble

It seems that I can't host a Call of Duty game anymore. I have the version 1.4 patch for the game, but I don't know if thats the problem. When I try to host a game, it shows some text saying that there was a " script error". So, If anyone could help me, that would be much appreciated.

I know a few people have had this error. I don't remember how they fixed it though. Can you play single player? Can you host if you are not connected to GameRanger?

I am baned from GameRanger, and I don't know exactly to why I was baned. I can't host a game in COD, but I can play single player just fine. I normally just join a server, but I want to host a game myself, cause a couple of buddies bought the game. ( i wana play 'em + i got cable modem)

even after i installed cod again, it still said that.

Do you only get the error when you try to host? Also, did you update to 1.4?

Yes, the " script compile error" comes up only when I try to host a game. I have version 1.4.

if you have v1.4, take a look in your Call of Duty/main folder.
Say me wich pk3 files are there?

there must be:
