Mac Gaming Mods

I have jsut pruchaed the CoD Deluxe Edition and found I needed a patch to solve some level loading issues. I installed the patch and now when I click the icon to open the game, it tells me to insert the CD when it is already in the computer. Now I can't play it at all. I am fairly new to Mac, but am pretty good with computers, so I may be doing something wrong with the Mac. It was also strange that when I dragged it to the HD like it said, it never asked for the CD key. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated so I can play this game!

When you start the game up is when it will ask for the CD key, not when you copy it to your hard drive. Can you start the game up and get to the menu or it will not even start up?
