is there any way to make your own multiplayer map for COD2?
i dont know any...

I don't know of any Mac tools but there are some for PC. I think they use Maya to create maps so it might be possible to create them on the Mac. Below is a link to the PC mod tools.

If my conversations with spida serve me well maya is a modeling program.

Yes, Maya is a 3d modeling program. The PC tools come with a plugin for Maya.
